Thank you for considering writing for me! I appreciate the generous use of your time and I'm sure I'll love whatever gift I receive.

This is not an exchange letter so much as a convenient masterlist of all likes and DNWs I might draw from for various exchanges.

General Likes

• Canon-typical action, violence, and gore
• Hurt/comfort, especially physical hurt and emotional comfort
• Weddings, proposals, or other big dramatic declarations of love and loyalty.
• Outsider POV on a relationship
• People assuming a ship is already together
• Established relationships
• Loyalty, both in general and 'A discovering B's loyalty is far greater than they realized' scenarios
• Competence porn, especially with canon skills
• Regular people rising to the occasion in emergencies
• Detailed descriptions of clothing, jewelry, and regalia
• Complicated loyalties and affection between members of opposing factions
• Worldbuilding what 'everyday' scenarios look like in fantasy/sci-fi settings
• Creative uses for canon powers
• Odd but sincere love languages
• Cats. Characters petting cats, adopting cats, snuggling with cats, being turned into cats.
• Role-swap AUs and reversals of typical power dynamics

Smut Likes

• Foreplay being a big part of sex
• Time-period-specific sexual practices and attitudes
• Non-penetrative sex being portrayed as equally satisfying and meaningful as penetrative sex
• Kissing and biting - on the mouth, neck, old scars, thighs, etc
• Awkwardness- like someone's hair getting caught, or laughing at cheesy dirty talk- that doesn't prevent people from having a good time
• Participants having a good time in general
• One participant reluctantly trying something (position, act, kink) for their partner's sake and being surprised how much they enjoy it
• Everyone wants to have sex but one/both can't bring themselves to admit it aloud due to various hangups
• Rough sex and manhandling. Characters getting pinned against a wall, pushed around, bent over, or pinned down. Grabbing a character's hair. Physical contact as foreplay. Roughhousing as an excuse to touch each other, playful wrestling that leads to more.

General DNWs

• Anything that affects memories, including brain injuries, dementia, or amnesia
• Canonically religious characters non-canonically converting or renouncing their faith 
• Dying in hospitals
• If relationship A/B is canon and I request a non-canon ship involving one of those characters (ex. B/C), I DNW unrequested non-canon references to A/B breaking up
• Omegaverse
• Parasitism played for horror
• Rape being treated as inherently more abhorrent or violating than other forms of abuse or torture.
• Recreational drug use (includes marijuana and addiction to painkillers; excludes alcohol unless blackout drunk or passing out)
• Sexual content involving prepubescent children
• Suffocation, drowning, or being buried alive, including references in conversation; underground or underwater scenes with no danger of cave-ins/drowning happening are fine
• Trans characters having genitalia that doesn't match their identity. Ex. If you want to write a canonically male character as transmasc, please give him a dick. If you want to write the character as transfem, please don't give her a dick. If I'm requesting a canon trans character, or some situation that makes this complicated, hopefully I will have more detail in my request.
• Unrequested bleak or hopeless endings

Smut DNWs

• Any/all partners feeling only miserable, humiliated, or disgusted after having sex
• Nonconsensual voyeurism, including being walked in on or overhearing characters having sex
• Anything with choking, or positions or devices that make it harder to breathe
• Ass to mouth, or a body part going directly from an ass to a mouth without explicit mention of washing it off
• Chastity devices/cages
• Kinking on religious symbolism or religious transgressions; religious characters and themes outside of sex are fine. Like, "we should wait a day to have sex because today's a holy day in my religion" -- doesn't fall under the DNW. Comparing two characters to Jesus and Judas during sex --- falls under the DNW.
• Pegging as an act of domination by the female partner or emasculation of the male partner in het ships. Doing it to have fun, or as a form of texture play, is fine.
• Someone purposefully ignoring/violating their partner's consent

Opt-ins (Common DNWs that I don't seek out but am happy to read)

• Sibling incest and first cousin relationships
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd POV
• Unusual kinks -- I've read a lot of erotica over the years. If it's not on my DNW list, and your creative urge is swinging a particular way, I'm willing to read anything you want to write.
• Discussions of pregnancy and the possibility thereof
